How was your summer? Hopefully, you relaxed sufficiently. We worked hard to make your life easier, as usual, thanks to TULIP platform. The following new adjustments are generally applicable and have a positive impact on your TULIP experience. So, what’s new?
1. Email notifications on top of user folders
Why?
To allow users (folder owners) to notify all relevant parties that there are new files uploaded to the directory.
TULIP still has automatic notifications in special workflows connected to payroll or accounting module, however, this new feature allows users to manage notifications above folders they choose as an addition in File manager.
How?
- Setup “who to notify” done by folder owner
- Notification about all new FILES each HOUR – sent once per hour
- Notification includes a file in the folder and its subfolders
- If there is a new person added – he/she receives standard notification only
- Each change is notified ONCE

2. Full text search
Why?
To allow users (all with access rights) to easily find relevant files & folders.
How?
- Search through all folders where you have access (at least read only)
- Find your “text” in file and folder names
- Easy to navigate to relevant folder
- Easy to share relevant file

3. Rights to manage subfolders only
Why?
To allow users to manage subfolder structure with more variability.
How?
- Add rights to manage subfolders (create/delete/edit) only.
