Year 2019 is the past now. How was it for TULIP?

Why was Dušan very busy, Michal calmer and who enjoyed our new TULI(P) seats? A.k.a. TULIP is still growing, so we had a lot of work in 2019.

Everybody loves these seats! We call them TULI(P) seats 😊.

TULIP news from 2019

  • The biggest change in TULIP came when the new module for companies ‘Benefits’ was created. Companies can manage their benefit system there (we say hi to Slovak government that gave us the idea by preparing absurd legislation changes regarding company benefits. Thanks to TULIP’s Benefits module, our clients are not pulling out their hair about it anymore. Well, not that much – the law is still on).

  • We have new colleagues in the support team – Ľubka and Tomáš, so our support can be faster.
  • Client references: We are very thankful for references from clients TMR and Covestro which you can find on our website.

Cooperation with Aj Ty v IT got much bigger

Aj Ty v IT is a great Slovak project that motivates young girls to study IT and requalifies adult women for career in IT business. Last year, our support for them finally got reflected in several events prepared together.

In April, we welcomed teenage girls at TULIP to show them work atmosphere in an IT company a motivate them to study IT. We did it as a partner for worldwide event Girl’s day.

There were 2 Aj Ty v IT trainings organized in our premises which focused on UX and UI (our TULIP girls attended, too) and we also organized our own workshop for Aj Ty v IT girls, which was about prototyping in Adobe XD.

Legend of a Slovak IT magazine PC Revue (renamed to Nextech) mentioned us in their Made in Slovakia list, they spoke about our shift plan in TULIP´s attendance management system.

In autumn, we supported IT Gala 2019 as a partner, it’s PC Revue’s award show for best IT companies in Slovakia.

Most of our CSR activities have already become traditions. Charity runs, clothes collections for homeless people, Christmas presents for orphanages, Bratislava volunteers’ week and cleaning of Horský park.

In 2019, our employees also gained a bunch of skills for more eco-friendly life at custom made workshops and we collected money for pets in shelters via a great project preutulky.sk.

So, as you can read, 2019 was joyful and successful and we cannot expect less from 2020. We believe we won’t be disappointed 😊.
