The cloud service TULIP is adding a new module to its ESS platform – Benefits. “Our clients asked for this new function and we would like to provide them with the best solution,” says Viktor Mečiar, Managing Director of TULIP Solutions.
The Benefits module was created as a response to clients’ needs. They wanted to use TULIP as a tool for all their HR related activities. Most clients don’t want to buy a new tool for such processes, however, these tools exist and are available. “We know there’s no gap in the market. Many solutions cover benefit related processes. However, we provide simple and user-friendly management, not only for our existing clients,” Viktor Mečiar explains.
The TULIP portal Benefits module provides a list of various benefits separated into 3 types:
- Text benefits – only an informative description of company benefits that don’t require any action from employees and they are automatically available
- Benefits without workflow – an employee creates a request in TULIP. This benefit doesn’t require any approval action from a superior
- Benefits with workflow – an employee creates a request in TULIP. HR processes the request as a priority. These requests must be approved in the approval process that is prepared based on clients’ requirements.
Types of benefits, terms, availability for employees, quota tracking and other data are set up individually with every client based on their requests. Related reports are available for HR employees.

Next to TULIP’s attendance management system, the business trips module and the document management system with OCR data extraction, there’s a new Benefits module that also simplifies companies’ internal processes and moves them to the cloud.
